Tablescaping - Not just for grown-ups!

I had the most delightful time Tablescaping today with my 3 year old daughter, Emma. She decided we needed to have a Tea Party in her room and I thought "Hey, it's Tablescape Thursday", hosted by Susan at Between Naps on The Porch. Please stop by and visit all the fabulous tablescapes there today.

I found this little silver tray at a yard sale for $1.00. I fell in love with it and knew I would be able to use it for something one day. I always encourage my friends that if they see something that whispers sweet nothings to them, BUY IT!

Emma has a wonderful playhouse bed her father built for her 2nd Birthday. We started out with a Toddler bed in the downstairs and it was a very easy transition from crib to bed. She has since graduated to the loft bed and now has the perfect kitchen for all her entertaining.

Bear Bear and Bitty Baby were excited to receive an invitation to such a lovely Tea.
No Tea Party would be complete without a Silver Bell to ring, when running low on Tea and Crumpets!

"Would you like 1 lump or 2, my dear?"
Please note the Target birds that were a gift to me from my fabulous friend and blogging buddy at Sharons Chickens In The Mist.

Thanks for having Tea with us, have a blessed day!

  7. Oh Jill, I would say Emma, Bear Bear and Itty Baby all had a wonderful time. You are such a precious Moma. Someday Emma will look back and say Moma you were so much fun when I was growing up, we had the best of times together. You are giving her memories Jill, just like I did Heidi, my daughter, and today she is passing that torch on to her (2) daughters Destiny and Isabel. It will come back around to you. Your precious Emma will do BIG things because of the precious love that you show her every day. I hope you frame a picture of this day for her to hang in her room. It is absolutely precious. Thank you for stopping by and loving my Lemon Tree story. I will cheerish that forever. God Bless you Jill. Country Hugs, Sherry

  11. What a special memory in the making! Taking tea with friends, be it human or bear, is momentous. How wonderful that you are passing this tradition down to your daughter! Be sure to pull these photos out when your daughter becomes a mama. Traditions are meant to be passed...

  12. Try to relax with gardening.Play Bazaar There are many ways to find personal relaxation and peace. Gardening is easily one of the most relaxing and gratifying ways to spend your extra time. It doesn't require a lot of cash up front, but pays major dividends. Knowing that you have grown these plants yourself can give you a great feeling of joy and inner peace.Satta King
